The Mount: door supervisors for live music
Some time recently (not sure when) I had a notice through the door about a request for changes to the Entertainment Licence at The Mount pub.
In summary, it says that when the previous licensee, Ann Holly applied for an entertainment licence, a condition was imposed that door supervisors would be required when there was a live music event, (except folk music) to control possible underage drinkers. There is now a request to remove this condition.
It says that in the light of recent noise disturbances from customers at the Mount, anyone wanting to object to this change should contact Mr Steve Ricketts at Environmental Services, EDDC: SRicketts@eastdorsetdc.gov.uk
I don't know anything about this, including whether this is still an open issue or has been passed as no date in mentioned. I did a search online but could only find much older references to Entertainment Licensing at The Mount. I'm not campaigning on this, though I have noticed noise at times in the past but not recently.
Can anyone shed any light on this story, for instance the date it will be considered or if it's been decided, whether it was passed or rejected?
